What this site does
Reduced motion respected
Every animated section — including the fully animated Why DEFEND page — has a complete, considered still state for prefers-reduced-motion, not a broken copy of the animated version.
Works without JavaScript
Content stays readable and in a logical order even if scripts fail to load.
Semantic structure
Real heading hierarchy and landmark elements, not divs styled to look like headings.
Keyboard navigation
Menus, links, and interactive elements are reachable and usable by keyboard, with visible focus states.
Meaningful alt text
Images that convey information have alt text; purely decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
Readable at normal zoom
Text remains legible without relying on hover states or tiny fixed-size containers.
Where we fall short
This is a small, independently maintained site, and it won't get everything right. If you hit a barrier — a contrast issue, a keyboard trap, unclear labeling, anything — that's exactly the kind of report that gets fixed quickly on a site this size.
